Intro Presentation. By. Amy Yeomans. I reside in Andover, CT and have lived there my whole life. I am 27 years old. I am a Junior and am majoring in Biology. Family. My family includes my parents, younger brother, grandparents, step-grandparents and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.

  2. I reside in Andover, CT and have lived there my whole life. I am 27 years old. I am a Junior and am majoring in Biology.

  3. Family My family includes my parents, younger brother, grandparents, step-grandparents and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.

  4. Education • Andover Elementary School • RHAM High School (2003) • Manchester Community College (2006) with a degree in Early Childhood education

  5. Hobbies I enjoy playing soccer and have been playing since I was 5 or 6 years old. In the past I have also played softball and basketball and have run track and cross country in High School. I love being outdoors so I also enjoy hiking and bike riding. The past 5 years I have also been involved in a bowling league. For some relaxing hobbies I like to crotchet and write.

  9. In The Future I enjoy being outside and am an avid animal lover. Being outside allows me to explore nature and gives me a relaxing feeling. I would love to do some kind of work with animals with my degree. My family and I currently have 2 cats but in the past we have also had sheep, goats, birds, fish, dogs and rabbits.

  10. I hope to work as a vet or at an aquarium or zoo. I want to work with animals since they need lots of people to help them. I would love to have lots of my own animals as well since I have always had some kind of pet at home growing up.

  12. Work Experience I have worked at Dunkin Donuts and Xtramart. I have also done lots of baby sitting for families around town. I currently work at a day care in Mansfield and have worked there for almost 5 years. I first worked in one of the pre-school rooms but for the past 4 years I have been in an infant room.

  13. My job allows me to get experience with young kids and I know songs and games to do with them. Growing up with a large extended family has also given me experience with children and I have always enjoyed them. We like to also so a lot of art and activities in our room.

  14. In June some of my co-workers and I participated in an American Cancer Society Relay For Life here at ECSU. Even though it rained most of the time we were glad to help out such a great cause that has affected most of us on our team. I have had several family members who have had cancer.

  18. I hope I can bring a lot to this trip do to my experience with my job and all of the other activities I have participated in the past. I think with everything I am a pretty good team player and look forward to getting to know everyone and working with them.
