CONDOLENCES to Glen Johnson Bert Wasmund, president of Westside club advised me that  Glen Johnson's wife died Wed June 16th. As you probably know, Glen is a 35 plus year Kiwanian, a former president, Lt. Governor, Duval Science & Engineering Fair leader, and a fine gentleman. Don’t forget if you signed up for June 24th & 25th Call Ralph Marcello John Lawrence and Tom Stinson visited last week from Empowerment Media, Inc. John did all the talking. Empowerment Media is an organization built to offer young people an entertainment alternative to MTV. Lord knows they need one! John’s group has produced some excellent television that challenges young folks to think responsibly, something that is missing in most schools and many homes today. A video was shown that contrasted very well what kids get from regular MTV versus Empowerment TV. Empowerment Media needs more support. They are looking for donors and volunteers but more importantly sponsors and advertisers for their television offerings. They are hitting an important demographic, and if you want to reach pre-teens and teens in a wholesome environment, Ultimate Choice is one of a very few good choices.
