High Level Goals • Long term goals • Implement science inquiry in middle & secondary schools • Assist AC school districts to incorporate research focused clubs or course work into science curriculum. • Increase fair participation reflecting diversity of Alameda County. • Short term goals • Start a new county wide Intel Affiliated Fair • Establish a bank of mentors to advise/assist students & teachers • Establish a scientific review and judging committee • Obtain funding • Recruit school districts • Recruit underrepresented population participation • Publish the science fair website and promote participation, visibility, access, application process/rules, dates/location/handbook/helpful links
