Behavior in the contextof organs • All environmental influences must be received via the senses, perceived, and processed by the brain before a person can behave. • Everything we smell, see, hear, taste, or touch is experienced in our brains. • No behavior occurs without sensory information being relayed to the brain.

  17. Obviously then … • The parts most important for criminal behavior are frontal lobes and temporal lobes • Thus, overactive temporal lobe or underactive frontal lobe can result in “bad” behavior …
