Frogs and Toads Frogs Toads Have “poison” glands for defense Live in trees and in borrows like frogs • Webbed feet for swimming • Strong legs for climbing and digging • Great hearing
Newts and Salamanders Newt Salamander No claws Look like eels with legs Similar to newts Not poisonous • Tail • Can regenerate body parts and organs • Larva have teeth and gills • Many produce poisons as defense
Caecilian • No limbs • Have teeth! • Resemble snakes • Borrowers • Dark light vision only
