The Lord’s Prayer When the disciples saw Jesus praying, they saw what a close connection he had with God, and they wanted to know how to pray like him. So they asked Jesus “Teach us to pray !” Jesus taught them the “Our Father” prayer - God’s own words of prayer. Explain what the words mean. Why did the disciples want Jesus to teach them how to pray? Why is the Our Father prayer more special than other prayers ?
