  3. Infinite Campus • IEP’s • Present Level of Performance must include IMPACT STATEMENTS • Need volunteers to develop PLOP’s • Must be completed in a TIMELY MANNER • Red ! marks must be corrected • Typically an incorrect date on services • Examples LCBE/gcm

  4. Infinite Campus Updates • 2009 IEP loaded • Referral form loaded • Update to all Eligibility Forms • Accommodations Determination Form loaded • KY Private School Plan loaded as an editor LCBE/gcm

  5. Infinite Campus Updates • Issues resolved on Conference Summary • KY ESR updates: Non KY Editors removed; Eval Date default to blank; Eligibility Editor added • Fetch Classroom Teachers now loads schedule from active school year LCBE/gcm

  6. Infinite Campus • Important Points • IC is an Online and Real Time • There are no fixes for dates • Complete everything in a timely manner LCBE/gcm

  7. KYSBAC • PCG is the new vendor for KYSBAC • New process is completely online • You will receive an e-mail prior to the random moment sample time. • No prior training is required • Training is completed prior to completing each random moment sample. LCBE/gcm

  8. LCS’s Special Education Procedures • Minor changes • 7 calendar day meeting notice, 24 hour for discipline • Discrepancy Model • RTI is required prior to referral LCBE/gcm

  9. Head Start Screenings • August 5, Hyden • August 6, WB/Hayes Lewis • August 7, Stinnett and makeup LCBE/gcm

  10. Evaluations • Completion of all re-evaluations by the end of September • Colleen needs school level information for several students • This information is needed ASAP • Indicator 11 of KCMP • 60 day timeline • Be sure to meet this deadline, it is a focus of Monitoring. LCBE/gcm

  11. OVERDUE Evals • List of overdue • If possible, I will get out ASAP • If not, everyone needs to check their own • Plan to make sure all are complete before referrals start. • All re-evaluation due by 12-1 shall be completed by 10-30 LCBE/gcm

KCMP Monitoring • New State Monitoring Direction • FED’s requires more Due Process • Need Volunteers to develop minutes like the ones we used to use. • Leslie County will be monitored by KDE in next three years. • Maybe this year with our % SWD. • All folders will be reviewed and placed in correct order. • Corrections will be made where possible. LCBE/gcm

  13. KCMP Monitoring • Eligibility and re-evaluation. • If possible, lets try to use the first evaluation where a disability has been determined. • The most recent information is monitored, SO: • Look at IEP’s, develop a new one if it is not up to speed. LCBE/gcm

  14. RTI • Parents shall be made aware of RTI services provided to their child. • The LRP website has several letters and forms that will be useful with RTI. • Search RTI on their site and scroll down for these resources. LCBE/gcm

  15. RTI • Beginning 7-1-09 all children referred for evaluation shall have received Response to Interventions. • Each special education teacher will provide RTI for one period per day. • KDE requires data for students who receive CEIS (RTI). • Implemention of RTI will be a work in progress. LCBE/gcm

  16. Instructional Supplies • $300.00 + $100.00 ARRA Stimulus = $400 per teacher • Instructional materials only • Office supplies will be supplied • Must be in office by October 30,2010 • Submit order to our office LCBE/gcm
