  3. Types of schools • Public school, religious school, general-special school  government-financed - Parental contribution • Private school

  4. Education levels • Practical education • Preparatory secondary vocational education (VMBO) • Senior general secondary school (HAVO) • Pre-university education (VWO)

Other levels • Preparatory secondary vocational education (VMBO): - 12-16 - vocational training with theoretical education • Senior general secondary school (HAVO): - 12-17 - diploma access to the HBO-level • Pre-university education (VWO): - 12-18 - divided into athenaeum and gymnasium - bilingual VWO

  7. ONC • The onc has two locations - one with only practical education -- economics -- technique -- care - one with VMBO, HAVO and VWO

  8. College • Over 500 studies • The most streams have a variety of studies • university
