  2. 1/ What did the Comenius Project mean for your school? • It meant a Iink between European schools. • It meant the opportunity to have the SEGPA section work on an international project. • It meant cooperation. • 2/ How was it welcomed at your school? • With interest and curiosity. • Everybody agreed to say it was a great idea. • As an opportunity for students and teachers to work together.

  3. 3/ Did it have the impact in the community you expected? • Yes it did. Students, parents and teachers were really interested. • Not really. I had to organise everything and it was hard job. But my colleagues, then, when the 4 delegations where here did a great job. • 4/ Did families get involved? • Yes, families soon got involved in the project. • Some, by hosting foreign pupils. • Yes, they are starting to get involved.

  4. 5/ What activities have you done until the moment? • Creating logos for the project, • Survey on recycling, • Recycling tips • Entering the European Week for Reducing Waste. • Preparing the pupils in receiving foreign pupils. • Presenting them the project : what it is and what it contains. • Working English conversational skills • Organizing the Comenius Club • Organizing the Comenius Corner • Setting up the Web Page for the Project

  5. 6/ Did students’ cooperate? How? • Yes, they did. They took part in all the activities proposed. • Yes, by working harder their English and by asking many questions about the project. • By working in team especially by showing the foreign pupils the way in the school. • In the different activities of the project.

  6. 7/ Did you have any problem until now? If so, explain. • Well perhaps some problems organizing students. • Yes. Some of our pupils have many problems in getting involved in something new and hard to imagine because too abstract. • As it’s my project, hard to have colleagues helping in organizing this First Meeting in France. • Encouraging students to enter in the activities of the project.

  7. 8/ What activities are you planning to do in your school until the next meeting? • We are planning to study the recycling survey, create the booklet, do some plays for Christmas with recycling materials. • More acquisitions in English skills. • Preparing the pupils to go in another country, Germany is the next one. So preparing them to travel and to be hosted in a German family • Translating all the work made in French about how we sort waste.

  8. 9/ Ideas or suggestions: • Some extra time at school for European projects. • Adults moving in the different mobilities should get more involved in helping when the groups are visiting places. Helping with authority and in having the pupils listening and participating. • Improving communication among partners, not only during the meetings.
