CGM MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • CGM, one of the three divisions of the Strategic Planning and Membership Department (SPM) • A division at your service : responsible for the planning and organization of efficient conferences and major meetings of the General Secretariat, maintenance of policies and procedures that promote and enhance the participation of the membership in the work of the Union and for the coordination of related intersectoral work.
CGM MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Plans and directs the organization of the Plenipotentiary Conference, Council and other major meetings of the general secretariat, including the coordination of the Council High Level Segment : coordination, preparation of documents, registration. • Develops and maintains effective relationships and linkages with all Member States, Sector Members, and other entities. • Manages registration and denounciation of Sector Members and Associates.
CGM MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Conducts studies evaluating the services provided by the Union to its external and internal customers (global directory, participation of the private sector, conferences, etc.). • Prepares reports, makes proposals and monitors the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the services provided by the Union.
CGM MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Directs the on-going development and maintenance of databases, such as the Global Directory, that contain timely membership information • Manages TIES accounts. • Plans and supervises the treaty depositary function of the Secretary-General (ratification of amendments to CS/CV).
