The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers consortium is pleased to announce the release of the English language arts/literacy performance-based assessment practice tests in an HTML version that is compatible with JAWS, versions 13 & 14, and NVDA, version 2014.1, for students who require the use of screen reading software. The HTML practice tests can be found online here: http://practice.parcc.testnav.com To access each practice test, select the grade level Performance-Based Assessment and then select “Screen Reader Compatible.” The PARCC states invite feedback from screen reader users whose primary screen reader is either Windows-Eyes on a Windows computer, or VoiceOver on a Macintosh computer. Please contact Danielle Griswold, dgriswold@parcconline.org, with any questions or feedback.
