Introduction • The indicator I am studying is Life Expectancy at Birth for Males. • Life expectancy at birth is the expected (on average, by statistics) number of years a person will live from his date of birth.
Data The data presented shows in years, the life expectancy at birth for males. I got the data from three countries: Nigeria, Egypt, and France.
Explain • The numbers indicate the average life a male would live since the date of birth in his country. • France has the highest life expectancy at birth, where the average male lives until the age of 77. • Nigeria has very low life expectancy which is age of 48 (almost a third less than the life expectancy at birth of France, and a quarter less than the life expectancy at birth of Egypt).
Persuasive ending • Life expectancy at birth for males in Nigeria is considered very low, many factors contribute to the low life expectancy level. • This low level of life expectancy might be due to: bad medical care, spread of diseases, increased genetic disorders, excessive drug & alcohol use, unawareness of hygiene, bad diet, increased pollution, and so on.
