CSIFT Handbook & ByLaws As Officers and Committee Chairs, we have a responsibility to read and understand our roles. • Handbook • Defines Member Responsibilities by Position. • Outlines our Financial Policy and Insurance Issues. • Includes Rules Governing Section of IFT. • Lists Committee Chairs, Past Chairs, Past Award Winners. • Provides Dates and Timelines as a Calendar for Planning. • ByLaws • Included in the Handbook (pages 56-67). • Includes 12 Articles by which our organization operates.

Financial Responsibilities We have financial responsibilities to our members. Maintain each appropriate Committee budget • Spend carefully! Vote on any item over $1,000
Member Expectations Meetings and Educational/Technical Programs • Speakers of Varying Expertise on Timely Topics with Quality Content • Good locations/venues at a reasonable cost. • Communication in advance of the meeting for planning to attend Networking • Varying opportunities to connect with other members: • Reading our Newsletter, providing our member directory • Active social media • Social Hours • Providing information regarding other Associations and Meetings Transition Assistance • Work Related Programs for our Members • Employment listings • Scholarships, grants, and educational assistance programs
Grow Our Membership! • Membership Committee- we do have an active Membership Committee. They do conduct ongoing activities to retain current members and recruit new members • Our Duty- To be actively involved with representing the positive features of being a member. - To promote the benefits of membership - To encourage participation in CSIFTWhat will you do to increase our membership?
