  2. NATIONAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE OF ANKARA • After it had been declared as the centreof Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), Ankarabecame the capital city of Turkey in 13th October 1923.

  3. NATIONAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE OF ANKARA • After being the capital city, Ankara has shown rapid development in social, economical, political, and cultural aspects and today, it has became the second biggest cityof Turkey.

  4. NATIONAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE OF ANKARA The population of Ankara was 404.581 in 1927. However today, the population has grown more than 10 times during 85 years and reached to the number of 4.890.893in 2012.

  8. NATIONAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE OF ANKARA • PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION The pre-school education is the first step of the Educational System and divided according to the age groups of their students:0 to 66 month pupils.

NATIONAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE OF ANKARA • PRIMARY And SECONDARY EDUCATION • Aftertheeducational reform called 4+4+4, Primary andSecondaryeducation is mandatoryforallstudents. • At these schools, education is for a period of twelve years, at the end, graduates are given secondary school certificates.
