When it comes to the characters in a story, there is: a PROTAGONIST! the main character. versus.... an ANTAGONIST! the character (or force) in direct opposition to the protagonist. THE JOKER! BATMAN!
The SETTING of a story is ... ... the time and place in which the story occurs. GOTHAM CITY, 2009 (?)

You’ve seen the next one before... • SYMBOLISM! • Do you remember the definition....? • Symbolism is... ...when something concrete... ...stands for something abstract (an idea, feeling, etc.) GOOD! YOU REMEMBERED! Example: -the colour green might symbolize greed, envy or innocence. -a ring could symbolize love, marriage, or eternity. -the wind could symbolize change. -a skull could symbolize death. *IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE CONTEXT!*
