  2. Description of the quality control tools • Based in M. Montecchi’s proposal: • Bubble Viewer: used to check cualitatively (by eye) the quality of the gluing. • Bubble Meter: used to check the improvement of the APD signal after and before gluing. • Adapted to our needs: • The amount of cx to glue requires massive techniques. • We’ve developed a setup where we can glue and check this gluing with BV & BM in an industrial way. • Both tools have an improved acquisition system to satisfy our needs.

  3. Status of the gluing device • We have 14 capsules to glue starting from yesterday. At the end of next week results will be available. Up to now, the situation is: • Quality control tools: • B.V:Tested many times before andsuccesfully tested in the new setup. • B.M: Succesfully tested before (ratios after/before gluing of apd signal according to expected: 1.17) but not yet ready to work in the gluing device (Tests are giving now lower ratios ~1.1). • Gluing tools: • We still have to improve the contact apd/cx done when pushing the apd against the cx with the air controlled jacks.
