  3. The importance of teaching grammar • Grammar is central to the teaching and learning of languages. It is also one of the more difficult aspects of language to teach well.

  4. What is grammar? • It’s the structure and system of the language or of languages in general, usually considered to consist of syntax and morphology.

  6. Why is the computer a helpful tool for teaching grammar? 1) They will learn grammar through various ways. 2) They will learn grammar in a hands-on way. 3) They will be more eager to learn grammar.

  7. Conclusion: Through our research, we’ve learnt that grammar is a subject which should not be taught in a mundane manner through the teacher, but rather as a hands-on, experimental fashion. Students will benefit the most if they are actively involved in the learning grammar process. We believe that the best way for students to be actively involved is through the use of the computer.
