Stonehenge is in Amesbury,United Kingdom in the continent of Europe.
Stonehenge was constructed between 3,000 and 1,600 B.C. Stonehenge was a wooden circle until 2,600 B.C.
Then they replaced it with stone. They used dark volcanic rocks called bluestone.
Each block is 50 tons. Bluestone was found in the Preseli Mountains.
Stonehenge’s builder (unkown) abandoned the build and didn’t complete the circle
I chose Stonehenge because I wanted to learn more about it.And I think it is unique.
