  1. Stonehenge

  2. What was Stonehenge? The Stonehenge is one of the Europe’s biggest stone circles. It is nearly 5000 years old. It is a mystical place. It is in England, in Wiltshire, on the Solsberry plain. It has been around for many years. But what was Stonehenge? A holy place? A market? Or a kind of calendar? Many scientists says that Stonehenge is associated with space.

  3. Midsummer’s Day Stonehenge is connected with Midsummer’s day. This day is celebrated on the 24th of June. It is the most important of the year for the Druids which introduced stones as calendar. On the morning the sun shines on the Heel Stone. It is one famous stone. Every year on the 24th of June Druids attend Stonehenge. It is strange but it is tradition.

  4. Problems Stonehenge is tourists place, when you know more about history of the country. But tourists have no respect for the stone they visit. The beauty of many places has disappeared forever… It’s bad! Tourism destroys ancient cultures and traditional ways of life. Stonehenge is polluted. That’s quite wrong!

  5. An old tradition living in Britain Nobody knows What mean these big stones. Maybe a holy place Connected magically with space. Druids celebrated that day Far from cities away They attended the Stonehenge… For me it very strange! Shunkina Nastya
