LIDAR QC Survey Meeting held on 2/13 • NCGS • NASA • D&D • Coastal Service Center NCGS performed a QC survey of temporary GPS base stations’ horizontal and vertical positionsin January 2001.

Phase II Scoping • The plan for scoping flood hazard mapping needs for counties and communities in the Phase II River Basins (Chowan, Roanoke, Yakdin, Catawaba, and New) is under development • Details to be provided at a future CTS Committee Meeting

Higher Standards • Work Group met on February 7, 2001 • Expanding Scope from Future Conditions Hydrology to include all Floodplain Management and Mapping Standards that exceed NFIP minimums • Developing criteria/process for identifying communities that might benefit from higher standards
