Outline Brief overview of the CFP goal, structure and funding (Lindsay Chapman) Coastal fisheries science and management activities in 2012 and proposed for 2013 (Ian Bertram) Aquaculture activities in 2012 and proposed for 2013 (Robert Jimmy) Nearshore fisheries development activities in 2012 and proposed for 2013 (Michel Blanc)

  3. CFP Goal (FAME Strategic Plan 2013-2016): Coastal fisheries, nearshore fisheries and aquaculture in PICTs are managed and developed sustainably

  4. CFP staffing and funding Currently 18 professional and 2 support staff in position 1 professional staff position lost in June 2013 12-month PIJP position under recruitment 2012 budget of around USD $5.3 million (4.9 million CFP units) – roughly 25% recurrent and 75% project 2013 budget will be roughly the same, by reducing in 2014 with projects ending.
