Yes & No • There are similarities • They both stem from group identity • The victims are social misfits BULLYING IS OFTEN THE ACTIONS OF ONLY ONE PERSON but Additionally • their goals differ HAZING IS ALMOST ALWAYS DONE BY GROUPS OF PEOPLE • Bullying is banishment • Hazing is acceptance Michael Angelo

  6. You can start with the law Hazing is only legal in six states. What should I tell students about the dangers of hazing? Get caught hazing outside of these states and you could face jail time. Michael Angelo
