  2. What is Hazing? • To haze is defined as to persecute or harass with meaningless, difficult, or humiliating tasks. It is also explained as to initiate, as into a college fraternity, by exacting humiliating performances from or playing rough practical jokes upon. (dictionary. COM)

  3. January of 2010 • Rutgers University • Six sorority sisters in Sigma Gamma Rho got charged with aggravated hazing for allegedly striking several pledges on the butt with paddles over seven days, between Jan. 18 and 25.

  4. On Jan. 26, one pledge went with her mother to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for treatment of injuries caused by the alleged beatings. She then reported the incident to university officials, telling them she had been hit more than 200 times.
