Infrastructure to make gender diversity work in companies 1/ A chief diversity officer of sufficient senior rank to enable that person to connect with senior male and female officers in making change happen - CDO reports directly to the CEO 2/ An incentive for compliance or for being a leader in the diversity effort - nothing moves people more than money. 3/An executive diversity council chaired by the CEO that meets regularly to gauge progress, assess initiatives and develop ideas for new programs 4/ Any programs developed to enable women to move to senior ranks must take into account the fact that they are in a work culture that does not easily accommodate women’s family responsibilities - make work/life benefits as available to men as to women www.EuropeanPWN.net
