  4. India has 1.1 billion people and is the 2nd most populous country in the world • China has 1.3 billion people and is the most populous country in the world.

  5. In 1947, India’s population was 300 million…60 years later the population tripled. • It has doubled in China during that same period. Population

  7. Experts predict that by 2025, India will have more people than China. By 2100, they believe India could be the only country to have 2 billion people. The Future
