ADAPT/myPRIME WHAT: Substance Abuse Training WHO: Soldiers with drug positive and/or alcohol incident WHERE: Any computer with a DVD drive and intermittent Internet (NIPR) connection WHEN: Commander directs Soldier to complete 20 hour training program within 30 days. HOW: Tool for Commanders to address drug/alcohol issues in theater; Soldier follows up with ASAP in garrison upon redeployment and is given credit for completing training program

ADAPT/myPRIME- Conditions for use • Commander identifies issue and/or concern with Soldier regarding drug and/or alcohol misuse or abuse. • Commander can ensure access to a computer • (government issued or Soldier’s personal computer). • Access to Internet (NIPR) is available to initialize training and at course completion. After initializing, course is completed offline with a DVD; Soldier is given 30 days to complete approximately 20 hours of training.

  4. Soldier Identified for Prevention Training (Drug Positive, Command or Self Referral) Soldier registers online for ADAPT via ACSAP website. ACSAP notifies Commander and records status within DAMIS. ADAPT/myPRIME: Delivery in Theater ACSAP notifies Commander and BACM via email that Soldier is registered; ACSAP and/or BACM issues DVD. Soldier connects online when finished; system records completion and notifies ACSAP. Soldiers completes course offline using the provided DVD. Start Soldier issued unique access code for ADAPT/myPRIME via email; must initiate course online via ACSAP’s myPRIME website.   5. ADAPT/myPRIME – Additional Considerations • NOT A HIP POCKET SOLUTION: Upon redeployment to home station, Commander • must send Soldier to garrison ASAP for follow-up.
