Translate each of the following into a balanced chemical equation including all symbols. • Solid sulfur will react with oxygen gas to produce gaseous sulfur dioxide when vanadium (V) oxide is used as a catalyst. • Liquid dihydrogen dioxide (a.k.a. hydrogen peroxide) in the presence of light (catalyst) will decompose to form liquid dihydrogen monoxide and oxygen gas. • Solid phosphorus will react with chlorine gas to produce liquid phosphorus trichloride. • When heated, butane gas will react with oxygen gas to produce gaseous carbon dioxide and dihydrogen monoxide vapor.
