Background • ERCOT proposed NOGRR124, Additional VRT Requirement for IRRs, for the purpose to reliably integrate further IRRs. • As recommended by OWG in January, 2014, to understand the ERCOT’s transmission grid’s HVRT capability, ERCOT issued an survey to the following entities in February, 2014. • 23 ERCOT Transmission Service Providers • 19 Panhandle wind generation projects that signed IA prior to January, 2014. • The deadline for this survey response is February 27, 2014.
