WHAT ELSE DOES THE SRC DO FOR RESEARCH STUDENTS? • Organises Research Presentation Day every 18 months for research students and staff to present their research. • Organises compulsory postgraduate seminar series to provide new research students with important skills and information. • Provides funding for remote students whose primary supervisors are located in Sydney to visit them. • Includes the Research Student Support Subcommittee comprising the three SRC student representatives, the postgraduate coordinator (research) and ad hoc members as appropriate.
