  4. To set up an account first visit www.facebook.com • Click on the Sign Up button • Create your account • Read the terms before signing up

  6. Find your friends • Type in your email to find friends you have on your email account • You can also use the search bar at the top of the page to search friends names

  9. Chat • You can communicate in real-time with your Friends using Facebook Chat • It is a popular way to communicate online.

  10. Turn off Chat • Look at the bottom right of you’re the web page • Select the options icon and click “Turn Off Chat”

  11. Video Chat • In order to video chat you will need a Web Cam and a Microphone • Select a friend from your list to chat with • Click the camera icon at the top of the chat window

  12. Video Chat • If this is your first time using video chat you will have to go through a set-up • Click Install • Allow Access
