Commissioning Update • There are currently 36 Supportive Lifestyles providers on the DPS Contract • Three Supported Living Schemes have been developed or are in development by Adult Social Care: - Porthpean, St Austell An update on this will be provided by the Care and Support provider, Havencare - Roan Villa, Redruth 4, 1 bedroom flats with communal hub. Current core shared support contract is being advertised on the DPS system (RQ430376)- St Clare, Penzance 8, 1 bedroom flats with communal hub. Core shared support contract will be advertised in early June
Contract Review Meeting Themes • Electronic Call Monitoring (ECM) Implementation has been an issue • Staff Retention Retention as a whole has improved • Difference between Home Care and Supportive LifestylesAny support over 4 hours is classed as Supportive Lifestyles • Reviewing the DPS Templates/Attributes • Uplifted Rates and Night Rate Increase • Case for change-working with NHSK to explore contract difficulties and consider solutions
Transforming Care Partnership • Building small support for people with hefty reputations • An NDTI programme in partnership with NHS England, LGA, C-Change, Positive Support and Beyond Limits • Person-centered, community based support developed around individuals • Integrated approach with NHS KERNOW and ASC Commissioning • Tailored approach using PHB/ISF individualised funding streams-Sec 117 arrangements • Person central, community and focused • Stop growing services like existing services
