  1. What will we need to be prepare? For the climate? For their culture? Trip to England 2002

  2. What do we know about the climate there? • Maritime climate provides mild temperatures (not to hot or cold) • Island nation, rains often! • Damp and humid so the temperatures seem more extreme than Utah

  3. What do we know about the culture of England? • Very traditional or unchanging. Still have support for Royal family! Nationalism and pride in their History.

  4. Ethnically diverse do to commonwealth status with former colonial country’s

  5. Mostly Christian. Church of England

  6. Much more formal than the United States. Remember your manners!!

  7. Parliamentary Elect a party. Party leader becomes Prime minister. (determine elections) Nationalized healthcare, housing, and industry. Royal Family figure heads to unify nation have no political power. (Wealthy and help with tourism.)
