Inter-county Coordinating Committee Created in the 1970s Counties opted out of the regional planning commissions Realization that similar interests, concerns existed in these counties Need for ongoing communications
Inter-county Coordinating Committee Meets 10 times a year, on a monthly basis Meetings rotate amongst the 6 counties depending upon subject matter Counties develop agenda topics UW Extension facilitates programs, speakers, etc.
Inter-county Coordinating Committee County board chairs, and administration members attend Meetings include invited state, federal legislators and/or their staff WCA staff provide update on what’s happening at the state level Opportunity for counties to bring issues/concerns to legislators
