Problem Annually 13 million hectares of the wood are cut downin the world! It is known that use of waste paper by production of 1 ton of paper and a cardboard saves 15 - 16 adult trees, 200 cubic meters of water, and electric power expenses at prime cost two-three times lower are more than twice cut. Relevance of the project • In Russia less than 4% of paper as municipal solid waste are exposed to processing. Thus the coefficient of collecting waste paper in Russia makes only about 12%. • About 60% of waste paper in Russia are created in public institutions, offices and schools, in inhabited and trade sectors. Objective of the project Creating a stand-alone device that collects waste paper and signaling of filling the paper converting company. TOMSK POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY
