  2. History Predecessor to the computer was a calculator on the 1600 - centurythat could add and subtract. In 1936 was the first mechanical computer constructed, the Z1. In 1977 became the commodore 8-bit computers popular among the people for their favorable price. In 1981 IBM began to mass-produce the first personal computer, the IBM computer. In 1985 came the first Windows operating system.

  3. Acer Acer was founded by Stan Shih. In 1993, Acer posted record profits of $75 million grew to $3.2 billion in 1994. From 1994 to 1995, Acer advanced from 14th to ninth among the world's largest computer manufacturers, surpassing Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Toshiba. About 80% of the computers made, are laptops. They also make devices like, mobiles, projectors, TVs and Servers & Storage
