  1. How to Choose a Crate Size -Pet Travel

  2. Choosing the Right Crate The right crate should make your pet feel comfortable during the flight. Taking your pet’s size is your first step in choosing the right one. To size your pet, the length, height and width should be measured. How to size your pet: Length in cm = Nose to base of tail – tail excluded Height in cm = Floor to top of head while standing Width in cm = At the widest point sizing your pet diagram If the measurement has been made, use the formula below to compute the recommended size for your pet’s crate. Length = A + 1/2 of B Width = C x 2 (Twice shoulder width) Height = B + 1/2 of C

  3. If you need help in choosing the right size of the crate, please speak to one of Aeropets’ consultants, they are more than willing to assist you. Quick Tip: The size should give the pet enough space to stand up, turn around and lie down, but not too much spacious because it’s not safe for your pet during turbulence.
