  2. The Logo • A logo (short for logotype) is a visual representation of a Company, Organization, Product, or Service. • A good logo is easy to read, visually appealing, and tells something about the thing it represents.

  3. Type Logos • Some logos incorporate the company’s name in them. This one is stylized text (writing).

  4. Emblems • Some logos have come to communicate an identity without words. These are graphic logos, or emblems.
