Test configuration • eNodeB SW: R8AA (L11B) • Site DXL00634 • 700MHz Band • 10MHz BW • LG AD600 as target and interfering UE • UE HW Version 1.1 • UE SW Version 7.2.2
IRC-01 • IRC-01: Activation/De-activation of Interference Rejection Combining (IRC) for LTE uplink 1. Activate featurestate 3. Feature is operable 2. Press apply

Irc-02&03 – test setup • Target UE • DL SINR: 25 dB • UL SINR: 20 dB • RSRP: -75 dBm • Interfering UE • Connected to PCI 98 • Handover to 106 disabled • Generates broadband UL interference in Gamma sector (PCI 106) • UE TX power manually fixed to +23dBm • 14dB reduction in Target UE UL SINR when activated Target ue interfering ue PTX= +23 dBm
Irc-02&03 – average throughput • Average UL application layer throughput measured (iperf) • 40% increase in throughput seen when IRC activated • Note: the following are not be regarded as benchmark results but rather as proof-of-concept
