  2. C-TIP Goal To develop and deploy an information sharing / transfer capability that enables the coordination of moves between parties to Maximize loaded moves and Minimize unproductive moves in the Intermodal Transportation Network.

Potential Cross Town Improvement Project (C-TIP) Interchanges Red Dots identify locations for cross town opportunities • Scalable and Transferable • Rail-to-rail: cross-continental moves • Port-to-rail: where on-dock rail facilities do not exist • Port-to-truck: port to distribution centers • Airport-to-truck: airport to distribution centers
