Write three statements using credibility, emotion and logic to persuade someone not of your generation (me, your parents) that your music is worth listening to. • Turn and read your statements • Write which statement your was most persuasive and give two reasons why.
Content Language Objective • Analyze a character and extend my knowledge of characterization by making text-to-world connections via music by creating a playlist for a character or work of literature
Playlist • Pick one of the readings we have done this semester (novel, poem, short story, essay) and create an 8-12 song playlist. • Pick songs that go with the theme, character, tone, etc. • You will arrange the songs in a graphic organizer that makes sense to you. On that back, explain the order and give a brief rationale (2-3 sentences) for why you chose each song.
