Check for square. 1- Cut wood block square 2- Drill .098 hole square 3- Cut back up block 4- Cut wheel slot 5- Attach back up block Cross pin wheel to the jig using a .098 pin or the drill shank. Locate the planner blade in the jig. You will be holding the blade by hand As you shave. GENTLY touch the high spot of the Wheel. Turn the wheel by hand, Shaving the wheel very lightly as you go. DO NOT TRY TO TAKE TOO MUCHOFF AT ONE TIME! You will scrap the wheel if you do. Go slow, use patience! 1-Block .75 x 3.0 x 5.0 Approximate Use a hard wood. Must be square! 3-Back up block Block of wood to help hold The blade square to the center line of the wheel. Glued in place works for me. This is just a place to start. Try different things! Ways/angles to hold the blade against the wheel. Height of blade to wheel. Different types of blades. Above all, do it with your Scout! 2-.098 dia. hole SQUARE to surface and through the block. 4-Wheel slot - .70 wide Length to accommodate wheel and .098 dia. hole
