  2. Early life During her early life her mother really didn't have a part in it since she was always away working. at the age of 12 she was a prostitute with her mother and later convicted for it.

  3. Beginning of career After being arrested for prostitution she started an interest in music. After she started in the music business she was given a nickname which was lady day.
