The ease of use and calibration make this sensor perfect for student inquiry experiments. • Calibrate sensor by pushing the calibration button while the sensor is in the sample bottle. EnzymeActivity • Experiment Setup • Understanding the catalyzed decomposition of hydrogen peroxide is easy with PASCO’s oxygen gas sensor. Using yeast, liver, or pant tissues as a source of catalase or peroxidase enzymes the reaction can be measured in the included sample bottle. • Calibrate the oxygen sensor in the empty sample bottle. Build a page with a graph display of O2vs. time. • Place ~20mL of 3% H2O2 into the sample bottle.
