January 6, 2014 Labels for Education We are having a classroom contest to see which class can bring in the most Campbell’s Labels for Education between November 18th-January 31st. The winning class will get an EXTRA period of PE in February! Please continue to send in labels! Thanks! Tips for Reading: Encourage your child to ask questions. Start by looking at the cover of a book together. What questions do you have? Ask questions during and after reading as well. Some questions will be answered in the book and others will not. That’s okay! Asking questions helps readers have a deeper understanding of what they are reading and helps them gather information and get ready to read. Reading has to be active – not passive! • .
