Green Coffee bean is the name that is used for unroasted or immature coffee beans which are a light green shade in comparison to the fully grown bean which has a brownish or reddish shade with a tint of yellow hue occasionally. These immature coffee beans are usually processed for removal of 'mucilage' and external pulp; a waxy layer of outer surface area continues to be undamaged.

  3. Yirgacheffe is considered the finest of all coffees grown in Ethiopia, the most prevalent taste characteristic is lemon, which gives a distinct tart bite combined with a rich, floral finish. Bright acidity, medium body, marked Jasmine and lemon flavours.

  4. This coffee mainly processed in wet method of processing, but small quantity of Natural/Sundried Yirgacheffe coffee is available. • Yirgacheffe fully washed grade 2 green coffee beans • Heirloom varietals • From Southern Ethiopia • Yirgacheffe district in Gedeo Zone • Grown 1900 meters above sea level • 2014/2015 crop • Processing – wet processed • Bright acidity, medium body , marked Jasmine and lemon flavours
