  1. Share the Harvest with TABLE FOR TWO $ Step 2. When you purchase a TFT branded meal, 25 cents will be donated to TFT Step 3. With your 25 cents TFT funds locally sourced, healthy warm school meals in sub-Saharan Africa. Step 1. Eat a healthy, locally sourced TFT meal, here at UC Davis. Support locally sourced, sustainably produced and nutritious meals both at UC Davis and around the world Why: • In our world of 7 billion people, 1 billion suffer from hunger and malnutrition • An equal number face obesity, diabetes, and other health issues due to "over nutrition” • Our goal is to level this imbalance by providing locally grown, healthy meals here in the U.S. that also support locally grown, healthy meals abroad. $ How: • The UC Davis Blum Center for Developing Economies, TABLE FOR TWO USA (TFT) and UC Davis Dining Services has come together to provide healthy, locally sourced TFT meals at the Silo, Gunrock Pub, Scrubs, and the convenience stores in the student housing area • With each meal served a $0.25 cent donation will go to support locally sourced, nutritional, and warm school lunches for approximately 4000 children in Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Kenya. There are 7 billion people in our world today. 1 billion people face hunger, while1billion people suffer from obesity. It’s time to rebalance the scale.
