Location Map The workshop will take place at the Instituto Superior Técnico from Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal at Congress Centre.            Membranes in Medicine Registration: The registration fee is 150€. This includes notes, lunch for both days, dinner on Monday and coffee breaks. Accommodation: Hotels located near Instituto Superior Técnico, with special prices agreement for the event. All include Breakfast. Target Group: The Workshop “Membranes in Medicine” is addressed to researchers, engineers and technical staff involved in scientific/technical matters of relevance to Membrane Extracorporeal Devices (Kidney, Lung, Liver) and Bioartifical and Tissue Engineered Organs. The attendants would be limited to 50 in order to favour contact between the experienced lecturers and the attendants. Target Areas: Artificial Kidney Extracorporeal Lung Assist Devices Artificial Liver Hemocompability and Anticoagulation in Extracorporeal Blood Circulation Bioartificial and Tissue Engineered Organs Young Research Forum The attendants can submit an abstract of oral presentations (15 minutes) or posters.
