Fransisco was know for murals, easel displays, brilliant etches and drawings. He marked the beginning of the contemporary painting period and is considered a pre-curser.
Francisco de Goya y Lucientes was born on March 30th of 1746 in Fuendetodos, Zaragosa. His father was a gilder and his family was very religious. He reflected everyday and his paintings reflected his religious side. Later on in his life, he droped the baroque guidelines and began to vehemently paint religious murals.

Benjamin West was a atrist of historical scenes around and after the time of the American War of Independence. Ben was know for murals and drawings.
Benjamin West was born in Springfield, Pennsylvania. He was the tenth child of an innkeeper. The family later moved to Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
