  1. The Original Slide The first table cell has a 100% transparent shape placed over it. This shape has a mouseover link to a custom show "Table 1" with "Show & Return" ticked

  2. First Slide of Custom Show This is a duplicate of the original but there is a new enlarged shape with a 'with previous' animation. In this case faded zoom. Just behind the enlarged shape is a transparent shape with a mouseover action "next slide". If the mouse moves onto this shape … next slide in custom show. If you wait too long the pointer will fade and this not work so well. See http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/visipointer.html

  3. Second Slide of Custom Show This is a copy of the first slide but the shape has an exit animation. The slide has an auto transition so the custom show ends when the animation is over and you return to the original table.
