BACKGROUND • 1995: First Internet Presence providing a common platform for both Obediences www. st-lazarus.net • 2004: PRC formally installed by the Grand Master and the Grand Magistry during a Grand Magistral Meeting • 2005 - 2009: Period of silence for communications. • 2008: Election of new Grand Master. • 2008: Rebirth of transparent communications. • 2009-2010: Strategic Communications Plan - SCP PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMISSION

  6. COMMUNICATIONS TRANSPARENCY PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMISSION Clear Goals for reporting news and information PRC & Communications not ends in themselves. PRC is the Order’s medium for Communications in close partnership with Jurisdictions. Comms a means of recruiting younger Members. Focus for Hospitaller activities Focus on our Order’s Christian Ecumenism. Enable Communications to and from Jurisdictions.

  9. HOW TO ENTER EVENTS WITH THE PRC PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMISSION Each Jurisdiction with a Website should appoint a Member to manage its website. Application is made to the PRC and a username, password, with instructions will be issued to the appointed Member/Webmaster. Events such as Investitures, Meetings, Religious Services can then be featured internationally using the supplied format for events on the main website. – (Form for download see “Members area – “Communication”)

  12. WEBSITE ACCREDITATION LOGO PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMISSION • Acknowledgment of the Grand Master. • An approved History of the Order. • Linked only to the International Website. • The International Website assures a secure link to all other approved Jurisdictional Websites

  13. PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMISSION This concludes the formal presentation about Communications to the Heads of Jurisdictions. It is really just the beginning of an ongoing partnership between national Jurisdictions and the PRC on behalf of our Grand Master.
